Food Delights

By time and history - No one truly knows where it first appeared. Some say it was invented before 1,000 A.D. in China during the Tang Dynasty, as a special treat for the Emperor.
 According to popular accounts, Marco Polo (1254-1324) saw ice creams being made during his trip to China, and on his return, introduced
them to Italy. In Europe, early reports place it on the table of King Charles II at Windsor Castle in 1671, where his guests could only watchand marvel at this royal dessert made exclusively for the King.
